Quick Hello

This blog, just like me, is a work in progress.

I’m sure, just like me, it will change and evolve over time. (I know, evolve isn’t technically the correct word to use here, but it sounded good, didn’t it?)

I have tried my hand at blogging before and was somewhat successful at maintaining it (if you want to read it, visit my old personal blog at: intelligentbabble.blogspot.com and a class blog at: rachelegan410.wordpress.com), but I just didn’t really like the stuff that I was posting/writing about. I guess you could say that I kinda lost interest. Of course, that was when I was still a college student and thought I knew everything.

Now that I’ve graduated and realize that I still have so much more to learn (yes, I am excited about it) and don’t actually know as much as I thought I did, I figured I’d start fresh and that means a new blog.

Since I am going into the public relations industry (yes, I’m looking for a job, you should probably tell all your friends so that somebody can hire me) I figured posting regularly about current events, industry happenings, or just whatever comes to mind would be a great habit to get into. I’m sure that some of my posts will be similar to the ones I did on those other two blogs, but other ones will be completely different and fresh. Can you tell I’m excited? After all, I do sign up for a new social networking site just about every week – this also means that I have a separate e-mail account so that I can easily manage all of my accounts.

Anyway, that’s the quick introduction. I hope you stick around and read more of what I have to say. I can’t promise I will post every day, but I can promise that I will try to be informative and entertaining when I do.

So that’s about it for now, I guess.
